Here's the update I've been waiting for. Cars been sprayed now. Very pleased with the paintwork and its not even been sanded back or cut yet!

I should be getting it back down to my own house this week so I can start putting it back together.

Bought some Nexia 1/4 vents and I ordered some brand new gm doorstrips from Germany this morning too!

Ill let the photos do the talking.

Thanks Chris , yes I've got the correct SRi front door cards but needed to source some rear ones as sri's have plain black patternless rear door cards but the sxi's rears match the front! Something I wasn't aware of when I stripped my old Sri! Doh!

Ive had the car back for a while now and have slowly pottered about with it, mainly just putting everything back together, painting bits and pieces and doing some tweeks. I stripped the front legs down and wire brushed the shite of them, gave them each 4 coats of hammerite yellow then Built them up with new fk shocks, 60mm springs top mounts and spring plates. Also wire wheeled the four wheel wells and gave them a couple of coats of hammerite smooth white for a nice look + it should help keep dreaded rust away. Last but not least hammerited the drums and gave these nigh on new GMAX shocks a once over in silver and threw the back end together with -60mm nova springs as you do

My birthday prezzie I got for my 21st! Sealey roller chest, I'd been needing one for ages as I'd outgrown all my wee toolboxes! Will be a familiar sight in the background of most of my pics now no doubt haha!

Very chuffed with it so far and how she's sitting. Purchased this from Dazz last week as well! Another piece of the puzzle, a prefacelift SRi airdam! I'm also debating getting nexia wing mirrors and morettes.


Also dragged my sportex down from the loft to be fitted this week I hope!

Nice work and it looks to be sitting just right, I thought -60 might have been a little too low but it looks good!

I see the neighbours have still not forgiven you for that little welding accident then ?

It's looking sweet there are some tasty bits going on that :-) Cracking build makes me want to crack on with mine. Welder is coming this weekend to quote me. eek!!!
