I have now updated my garage for my Astra GTE 16v Champion edition which is for sale at £4.5k.
This is an original example with no work ever carried out.
Apart from bad bits as mentioned in my garage this car is extremly clean externally & internally with a great unmodified engine.
She has never let me down & has never cost me a penny (typical old skool valver).

As mentioned in pervious threads I'am wanting to get onto 2 wheels again (sorry) & if I don't reach near this figure I will just keep her.

Hi people, going down to £4,000 now.
If no takers within a few weeks i'll be putting it on ebay.
Not too keen about putting it on ebay but there will hopefully be more interest.

i aggree beautifull example and i will sell mine for 4.5 as will be fully restored with evidence good luk with sale mate its beautifull..

no disrespect to my old car but people are struggling to sell any decent GTE at the moment

hi,yes champion is still for sale.i couldn't bring myself to put it on ebay & have some random buying it.
i was going to update the thread in a couple of weeks to say it will be getting sorn for 6 months & put away for the winter.
i will also be taking a picture of dash with the up to date mileage for everyones information. nearly 91k.

Afternoon people. Just read Dave Mckee email. Sorry mate but it sold on Sunday to gordon1983 for £3,400. He has kept in contact & was very keen throughout. He done 2 journey's from Scotland, north of Inverness (8 hour drive). I know i was holding out for more money but on thorough inspection by Gordon it was noted that the sills had started to rust. I nearly cryed when he started pulling bits from in between the side skirts. Nevermind she's still an awesome car & Gordon is over the moon & will weld the sills & make her perfect again. She is in good hands & has gone to someone who has the time she deserves. I had many sleepless nights wondering if i was doing the right thing but i wasn't doing her any justice anymore. I've told him to keep in touch & to stay in contact with the forum as there are some cracking lads on here. Good luck Gordon.

I've changed my mind too on getting 2 wheels again. With the wife & 2 kids under 3 i'll not have the time for that either.
So, has anyone got a cheap campervan for sale, lol.
