F20 crown wheel won't fit the F18 pinion gear, but if you keep the crown wheel it will fit the F20 diff. It should be a bit of an upgrade as the diff body is a bit beefier (smaller openings, so bit more meaty) Better yet to swap the pinion gear (which is the whole outgoing axle) with it, so you can put the stronger gears in action as well of the F20. You will still need the F18 1st to 5th gears though if you want to keep it wide ratio. And you must look at the final ratio then, as the F20 has most commonly a heavier final.
