  • hell sensor???

    its coming up when i flash the codes out:

    93 Hall Effect Switch (HES) Low voltage
    94 Hall Effect Switch (HES) High voltage

    how do i fix it?

    its on a c20let BTW.

    Hi mate, either the connector on the distributor is loose/corroded, or your hall sensor (found inside the distributor body) is kaput. check the link in my sig for a how to on replacing the hall sensor....all you neeed to know is in the pdf.

    But if you can, substitute the distributor with another known good unit. If it's still the same, than try checking for continuity from the sensor back to the big plug on the ecu...once again, you'll find the wiring diagram in my sig link.

        Yes mate, it is a pig to remove. Basically, you need a pin punch the same (or a tad smaller ) size as the hole, and then drive the pin out with a hammer.
