  • 20xe TPS WIRING HELP

I'm trying to put back together the wiring loom on a 20xe engine loom, the problem is with the TPS ,wiring someone has cut the plug off in the past and used crimps!

What I'm trying to find out is what colour/s wires goes to what pin so I can reconnect the factory plug I got today from the breakers.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

an interesting challenge ! short of someone peeling back the shrink wrap and having a look, next best suggestion is wiring diagrams in the back of haynes

TPS is item S44, track 618 and 619, looks like an earth, idle contact, full load contact, two signal wires (idle and full load contact) go to pin 52 and 53 of ECU multiplug. got wire colours but i cant read it on the digitized version and without the actual book in my lap :/

          Here's the schematic:

And it's brown/green on pin 53 of the ECU, brown/blue on pin 52 and plain brown to ground.

Autodata says the TPS has three pins called 2, 18 and 3. The 18 and 3 connect at full open throttle, 18 and 2 with the throttle closed. 18 is the middle pin in the connector, but there should be those numbers on the unit itself, might be very small to read though.
