I think this might be easy, but your input is always valuable.....
So the car has sat in the garage for a couple of weeks whilst I track and fix a few other issues....the heater was working ok before although it did squeal on full speed
Got the car out yesterday and went for a spin to find the heater blower has stopped, looked at the fuses to find (no.12) blown, so I replaced with another 20amp, switched on to try and although nothing happened with the blower this time the fuse became really hot and started to melt before popping....
Do you think the blower has seized?????
All ideas and thoughts are always appreciated
Chris
Just a quick update: Pulled the motor out and as thought it had seized. Tried blowing out the old built up crud but it didn't want to budge....Anyway found a fairly local company to me called Colchester Rewinds, very helpful and took just 2 days to refurbish the whole unit for £40...
Works a treat now, even the old whine and whistle it used to have has now gone....
Another job ticked off...what's next!!!!
