Interesting...it still exists then, presumably in somebody's garage. Needs a seat bolster repair, new decals and possibly the anthracite wheels (although the GTE style ones were an extra-cost option at the time), plus the MOT stuff obviously. Looks good though, and being an early one it's got the "right" engine. Did you ever have the guy's details or are they likely to be kicking around the house somewhere?

Might be worth contacting the DVLA regarding the one above see if you can get an address so you can contact the current owner

I did have the guys details. I put it on a site in the wanted section and he got intouch with me. Cant remember the site now and believe me i've tried. They weren't willing to do the mot work for me to pick it up which was annoying. It also had just had a full bare metal respray at the time.

All i remember was that it was in walsall
