I am currently working on a GTE cabriolet and i am not sure what to do with the boot lid.... the car is white but the boot has a black stripe running through it, do you think i should get it respray white or keep the line?

you dont need to paint it usually, get yourself a heatgun or failing that a hair drier & just warm up the strip & it peels off fairly easy. you'll need some tar & glue remover as well to get the backing glue off the boot

personally i dont like the 'clean' look, it looks too basic. the black vinyl is a big contribution to the sporty GTE look! looks wrong without it! thought about a spoiler if it doesn't allready have one? or smoked rear lights? unless you want to go for the clean, smooth look. its your car so its up to you but personally i would keep the black!

might be easier to find a bootlid without it on in the same colour off of a basic model cab, might not tho being a cabriolet! might be worth a try tho!

Sure tell me how much you will require, the standard width is 610mm wide by how ever long you need it?

We've tried hunting down the exact material Vauxhall used with several places, but no luck in matching it perfectly..

Not all the GTE cabs. had the black strip on the boot, the only one's that i've ever seen with them on were red and white one's. Mine cab's a blue GTE and that never had one.
