Hi, I was going to buy this Wurth product for my plastics but I am unsure as to which one will give the plastics the original look the anthracite or the black.
Whats your views??
Have used the wurth paint i personally feel it's not a close match to the stand colour just didn't look right to me I used halfords bumper trim spray in black instead.
GTE external trim was never black (except a scuttle trim as I have one new) it was grey or blue/grey
That's what I thought, I have checked out pictures on the net and it does suggest a more grey/blue colour, I have had the car for over 20 years but cant remember that far back lol,
cheers for the feedback

i cant answer the original question as i havent used it, but i bought anthracite grey, because black is not right
I have seen a few restorations with black trims and it's just to much contrast with the white, the grey is more subtle that's why I have just ordered the anthracite, lets hope it looks ok
Cheers

When I was having the resto done on my car I couldn't get a complete matching set of new replacement blue / grey bumper inserts, lower trims or side skirts as a number of the trims were just obsolete. To get a complete new set of trims I had to buy some of the trims in just grey or beige. The guy that did the paint job on my car ended up spraying all the plastic trims in a blue / grey.
The paint and process he used was as follows:

Cheers Clive, I have purchased the Wurth anthracite die so I will give it a go, if its not up to scratch I will take them to the bodyshop and ask them to spray them as you have suggested
Thanks again
I used the Anthrazit on my 1,3 which has the one piece blue/grey base model bumper. This might not be the same blend of plastic, but the color is pretty much identical to the GTE blue/grey bumper inserts. I think it matches the original color extremely well. It?s nearly two years since I treated the bumpers, and they still look pristine. I think the surface replicates the original plastic texture a lot better than any paint. I can?t recommend this product enough!

Really happy with the results of the Wurth anthracite die, really freshens up the plastic and not to dark, posted these pictures to show the contrast with the parts that are not yet done
