hi all, many years ago I went to oulton park in my first white astra gte 8 valve to the max power live and unleashed tour. upon entry I was asked if wanted to enter a competition I thought why not, found out once inside it was a burnout competition so entered as the astra was brill at burnouts ;-)
anyway I won the comp against a guy who brought his on a trailor and basically let all the fuids run out and he blew the engine!. there was also a colour concept golf gti maybe vr6 not sure now, they were pussies as the did a little wheel spin then kept getting out to look at how much rubber they had taken off.
for my troubles I won a set of tsw wheels of my choice, venoms it was then lol.
im wondering did any of you lot go and have you got any pictures of said burnout comp ?? my car was white astra gte registration j761 jnv no longer with us sorry guys had a massive back end broadside and wiped out the car was totally gutted and the next car I got was an astra gte ;-)
