Red Redtop injectors

i found on ebay some red injectors which he saying is for a redtop, but i am unsure about these.
i didnt know that there was a red coloured set of injectors for a retop or are they special ones or something limited edition or somthing daft or is he a fibber lol.

the GM Part no. - 90501588.

any one know anything about these red injector, thanks

They aren't red top injectors, they are either cream or blue depending on the ignition setup. Red are Ecotec or Saab.

What's the difference? I've seen loads for sale with "cream injectors" do they spray different/smoother or something.

Earlier cars with distributor setup run cream injectors and 3 bar fuel pressure, later cars with coil packs run blue injectors and 3.5 bar fuel pressure.

90501588 are ecotec injectors, 1.8, 2.0 xev engines.

bosch reds are saab 2.3 turbo injectors

The best thing you can do is make sure your redtop has the correct standard injectors, Richie has told you what it should have

heres the item number for it forgot to add it before "300290880412"

i will avoid them like the plauge.

ive got another question regarding that the FPR with the info the richie and Brett gave, ill putt it in a new thread as is totally derails away from the threads original title

wasn't it 2.5 and 3 bar?
