i went onto a weigh bridge with my gte too. when i knew for a fact its kerbweight was 1037 from the factory, and that i had removed 400kg. the weighbridge said it weighed a metric tonne, on the nose.
not saying they are crap, just saying they spend all day weighing in and out 30 tonne dust carts, is it safe to assume its accurate in the lower echelons ?
Yep, full interior, LET, frontera IC, and F28...and yes they are mega accurate, as they weigh tankers coming in to the factory, and weigh them after the delivery, and we get charged on the difference, so the scales are calibrated every month, iirc.

that was my point, they come in 20 tonnes and go out 40 or whatever. so why would they be accurate measuring only 900 kilos or whatever?
mmmmmmm, i see your point. I'll ask the guys at the weighbridge and see if i can have a peek at the calibration data... the real test is to weigh myself and go and stand on it!
yeah our local quarry doesn't seen to be correct, the g/f's clio is ment to be 935kg's and it was over 1000. this might be stating the obvious but when you are weighing you cars you get out and stand off of the weigh bridge?
