Redtop Astra GTE Road Rally car for sale. This was originally a stage rally car and I still have the MSA logbook but used for roadrallies the last few years. Ive done 5 roadrallies in it and finished all of them - 17th on the recent Ryemoor rally.
The shell has a good cage fitted, triangulated to the front struts and double door bars. Proper seat rails fitted. However its had a few knocks, scrapes and dents so the outside is tatty and the paintwork is poor but its all black and not so noticable in the dark!
Has a standard c20xe redtop engine (albeit with a cone air filter) and an F20 box with ZF LSD diff. Standard manifold and an Ashley exhaust system - passed noise at 89 on the Ryemoor. Fitted with Bilstein challenge spec dampers, spherical bearing front topmounts and "forest" springs.
Has master cut off switch fitted but would need plumbed in system refitted for stage rallies and would need windows re-filmed.Has tankguard fitted and substantial thick sumpguard. Fitted with 2 (tatty) bucket seats and Luke harnesses, and will come with 6 x 14" wheels fitted with Dunlop SP85s (different to the wheels in the photo) and a set of Hella 3000 spotlights.
