Well, Finally got it all done!
Big thanks to 'stt' for selling me these mint seats at a very good price! and a massive thanks to 'Gander' for helping me fix the heateing elements in them!
What a differnece it makes having leather again! Its the one thing Ive missed hugly about my old Calibra. Most comfortable I have ever sat in and despite what people think I find them as supportive as the standrad GTE seats. As you can see in the picture of the Monza trip computer Ive used a Senator CD switch for now to operate the heating for the seats, Im trying to get LHD fog light switches to do that in the long run. The door cards are from a Astravan, the vinyl is perforated and matches the seats well.
Next thing I did was to fit the Monza trip computer I found at Billing for £3! It doesnt fit the space between the vents well and so I had to modify the standard clock surround to make it fit nicely. It took ages and I wont be doing it again in a hurry! It turned out very well in the end. It reads 4 times over because the Monza uses a 4 bit sender as opposed to the GTE 16v 16 bit sender (or so Im told) so I have divinde my fuel figures by 4. It shows Im doing a healthy 28.5mpg pottering around the village. I havent tried it on a run yet so we will see.
Considering it started of with the beige mank less than a year ago its come a long bloody way!!
