Here it is the one ive been bigging up for months now!
I thought now would be a good time to spill the beans, seeing as quite a few big names on here are throwing in the towel (you know who you are traitors!).
This will be seen through to the end, however long it will take!!
Ok, here we go!
Last night I picked up the last major ingredient for this project that I have wanted to do for ages................
............here it is!
Im going to put this little baby in a mk2 astra! well try anyway. RWD of course and about 350bhp to start with.
Here is the saff that will be donating its YB. Dont laugth! I had to drive this piece of poo about 70 miles home! Not only did it look like that, but it drove horrible. The engine needs setting up badly, its got a new T34 with BD10 and 14 cams running on standard yellows!?! but the engine sounds good and the platform is there for 300bhp plus with a set of greens and a 3bar map sensor.
One day when funds permit ill have a GT30 turbo, 200 block and 8 injector set up, but until then I want around 350bhp which a 205 should handle.
Heres the lucky astra!
Ive got some more recent pics of it which ill post up later, but basicly if your not in the know, its a 1.3 GL that I paid £40 for and it dont have a single spec of rust anywhere! all origanal unfilled arches! mint sills! There are a few little niggles but it really is amazing condition.
Some of you may have also seen me break this.
This champ had to die to donate all its trim, bumpers, loom etc etc.
So there we go, my mate should be picking my champ turbo up anytime now.
Pauls astra should be finished at mine soon also, meaning I can start putting the saff out of its missery and then the blue astra can start being cut up for the YB transplant. Ill keep you all informed on progress.
