M3, there's no contest. I fitted a bilstein kit to a mates one ages ago, the front suspension geometry is ace, the way they turn in is almost as entertaining as the engines power. I like my mk2, but I'm not really a diehard fan of vauxhalls, I've never considered owning a calibra or cavalier, especially one thats mated to that dodgy 4x4 system. Mk2's are retro cool, calibras and cavaliers still seem a bit boy racer-ish to me. The M3's superior in every way. Thought about an S4? Similar performance, great build quality and less chavy than the M3 if that image bothers you.

The S4 is a cracking car, my brothers mate had one...funnily enough he bought an M3 on monday lol

They're very similar aren't they. My mate at work has just bought one, that's why I thought of it, lovely shape and seating position. Went for a spin after I replaced a worn ball joint, very fast but the M3 would probably have it in a straight line because of the weight and drag of the 4x4 system. I like the 'feel' of Audi's and BMW's. R33/32 Skylines are another option, bomb proof donk, lovely progressive handling with the GTS-T, and as long as you don't mess with the body they don't look chavy. Once you've been in one you can see what the fuss is about, same for M3's and S4's really.

bmw m3 nooooooooooooooooooooo the only people that drive m3's are (an i'm sorry if u drive one) meat heads dont like bmw drivers they drive like they driving a volvo. cav turbo all the way if you keep it mint it will be worth more than the beemer in the long run. its a more exclusive car.

cav turbos are pooh any way. nice and rare my arse, that doesnt make em any better than the boxes of crap they already and always where, hence why so may people brake em up.

want something retro cool. you could get a nice lancia delta for that tag thats been looked after. tht will do a cav turbo as has the proper 4x4 system in it

Turbo's get broken up purely for quick, easy profit as the cars can be had so cheaply and worth more in parts, not because they are crap

BMW's round here are driven by chav's or reps or wanna be gangsters or people that pay to have a stick on m badge to boost there ego. Cav's tend to be used by taxi drivers granted only the diesel's.

the big problem with this is you cant compare and apple with a bottle of white wine, and imho and cav is an apple not white wine as already stated a bmw is alot higher spec, the engines last forever and the way they are built is alot better than a cav end of story

build quality of the bmw is amazing, although iam biased owning a M5. you wont regret it fella. the M3 will pull and pull through every gear
