F28 gear linkage

I am putting F28 into my gte. The linkage or gear selector rod seems too short. When gearbox is in neutral gear selector is in 2nd (if you know what I mean) I'll get some pics up asap.

What linkage have other people used? Were and mods needed?

I've just put one in my car mate what I had to do was use the end rod section of the f28 linkage with the rest from the gte it seems to be ok now and select all gears.

Cheers. I think I know what you mean. Do you have a pic? I was going to extended the rod on the selector and use F28 linkage.

Hi mate, Did you get this sorted as i bought a GTE With a C20let/F28 and reckon my rod is too short as having issues with gears , what did you do to solve your issue ?
