Intermittent sound ( over bumps ) on stereo but power light is on. Help please.

I have intermittent sound on my stereo. It comes on when going over a bump so it's a loose connection. I've had a look at the wiring diagram ( Haynes ) and it seems the power light is separate from the rest of the stereo. I'm no genius at this but I couldn't find where the actual stereo gets it's power from to get the sound. I've tried another system and get the same thing. Both stereos work properly. I've tried moving the wiring loom and also giving the area a thump but nothing happens. Sometimes when I slam the drivers door it may come on !

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

The main (memory) supply comes from the hazard light switch. It's the red wire separate from the multi-plug. May be worth checking that's fitted snugly.

It seems you were correct ! Thanks very much.
I checked the connections but, although they looked ok, I pushed them all in to make sure. I've been over a few road bumps and there has been no problem since. I did have the surround off the other day that houses the hazard switch so must have loosened it just enough to cause the fault. Again, thanks as I would never have found it without your help.
