Calibra Leather into mk2?

Hi Peeps,

Know it's been covered before but does the calibra leather fit straight into the mk2's??

Just the seats not the doorcards as I know they need tinkering with first

Fronts fit staright in, rear don't.

you have to fiddle about with the rears from what i have been told the calibre leathers in mine fit but the base of the seats is slightly reclined can put up pics of the back if ou want...

so what needs changing to get the rears in or do they just sit funny??

i believe you have to cut the back off of your mk 2 seats and then cut the back off of the calibra seats and swap them ova

back rests you have to put the calibra covers and foam onto the mk2 metal frames. the seat bench goes straight in on the same hinges.

only issue is that calibra bench (the bum bit) isnt split 60/40. back rests are though

id go with what darren h is saying, hes defo makin sense....but ta be honest there actually quiet comfy a a recline lolz...here some pics of how mine look at the mo..

Back in the day a mate of mine had an astra van with calibra seats in,
he cut out the half height bulkhead and the false floor to fit the rears.

I remember he used a bit of 2x2 wood right across the seat backs as a support and screwed the rears in permanently!

It was a right old lash up but it worked, kind of.
