It has taken a few months negotiating but finally last week we picked it up and brought it home.. I had been in contact with the previous owner since he bought it late last year, and had been lucky enough to have had a ride in it at Donnington Park at this years historic event. I never thought it would come up for sale again so soon but when it became available we had to do it. So we now have another car and no money left!!
The plan with it is to give it a good clean, tidy one or two things up and check it out mechanically so that next year we can use it for some demonstration events and shows and maybe the odd run to the chippy
. No track days though as it's VERY loud. First jobs are It needs the exhaust manifold re sealing and also the rear brakes are sticking on. The good thing is that it came with the original metric Speedline magnesium alloys and Michelin slicks but not a lot else.. I will get some pictures up over the next week or two as we get stuck into it.. Mick
