Blimey, I never thought that would turn into a barney! Glad you guys pitched in with positive comments though.

On a side note, that image got the second highest number of 'likes' we've ever had for an image on the TV FB wall, so the trolls are well in the minority.

Oke oke...
Only a few photos for today.. after this still waiting for a few weeks/months till i've got more time

I was invited by Trabantman (Trabi Style Custom and Designs) to his company to "assist" him (meaning i was getting the coffee) with the part for the pedalbox. I'm not an expert with computer drawing programs, so, i had time to drink my coffee and take a few photos

the plate for the bulkhead was already finished, so first step was fitting the pedal box with the original throttle pedal.
As you can see, it's way off..



First step was measuring some dimensions and start with a rough design



than cutting a mold from cardboard with the laserjet.



looks like it, but it's not good yet..



After a few new measurements and ideas, Remco played with his mouse and keyboard: the next design was finished



So after checking, time for the waterjet to cut some 3mm aluminium



............



a few bends in it and trial..



It's not finished yet, but this is the result till now..






I have to make some distance bushes, footplate and fine tune it a bit, including painting it black.
When that's finished i will post up some new photos... But it can take a while.
