Hello, i have just recently bought this car, flew from Glasgow down to Bristol and then drove the car 380miles (7hrs) back up the road to Ayr. The car is original and has been owned for the last 21 years by the last owner who bought it when it was 8 months old.
The car is in excellant condition with no rust anywhere, its never been welded or painted and everything on it still works, not bad for a 22 year old car.
The car was used daily until about 12 years ago when it has been kept in the garage and only used in the summer months, the car has been mot'd every year and is sitting with 70k on the clock, some years it only did about 12 miles between mot's.
I had one of these cars back in 96, one of my favourite cars i have ever owned which is why i went looking for another one know.
I have gave the car a good polish along with some mechanical work, new t/belt and water pump, gave the coolant syatem a flush, plugs, leads, rotor arm, dizz cap, brake discs & pads, air filter, fuel filter, oil, oil filter, brake fluid & gear box oil.
The car had a new exhaust fitted for its mot this year, i hate the back box thats been put on so i'm on the look out for a new one.
