    PHOTOBUCKET FIX
Following the fix below will allow you to get the photos back on threads... works on most forums.

"As we know photobucket has gone down the charging route and some great photos from the pages on this thread have all but gone. Use these instructions below and trust me it works. I can see all the photobucket photos on here again. Its from Google and is free.

If you're using Google Chrome, go to the three dots on the top right side of the screen and click them. A drop down should appear. Hover your mouse over "More Tools," and when the next drop down appears, click on extensions. Go to the link towards the bottom that says "Get more extensions." In the search box, type "Photobucket Fix," and hit enter. Click the install button and once it's done, you should be able to see photobucket pictures again.

For FireFox users, click on the three bars on the right side of the screen, then click on add ons. Click search for "photobucket hotlink" and click install. Same result.

    Hope this helps."

Yes definitely works Steve. Great information and instructions. It will allow most of us to resurrect all the lost photos on our threads bringing them back to life now.
      Thanks for this.

A more permanent solution which allows your images to be viewed in all browsers is to edit your thread and add "~original" without the quotation marks after the .jpg or whatever image format you use in Photobucket. For example image.jpg would become image.jpg~original. This still works nearly 6 months after PB blocked the 3rd party image hosting and even works for newly uploaded images if you're still foolish enough to still use PB.

thats how the owner of retro rides fixed (basically) the entire forum. like he did some whizz bang stuff dont understand which supercedes any photobucket link with that fix. temporary i reckon until they cotton on. plus there's no impetus for people to get off photobucket (which they should imho, robbing bstards)
