Sadly my father-in-law passed away recently leaving in his garage a Red Vauxhall Astra 1.6i Convertible. It was first registered in 1993 and has covered approximately 60000 miles. After it let him down on the M1 (a drive shaft failed as he was in the overtaking lane) he lost confidence in it.The car was repaired but he rarely used it. It was last used it in 2010 and has been in the garage ever since. It will obviously require some work to return it to a roadworthy condition but it would be a shame to scrap it. It has a private number plate K444RAY, this can be sold with the car or separately. Scrap value of the car is £400 so any offer above this will be acceptable. The registration is probably worth the same. The car is located in Nottingham. Thanks for looking.
