Such a shame you didn't have a camera, i carry a camera in my car and if i ever have a collision again, ill take a whole film of the driver and everything around, then if police are not involved immediately, false name and number don't work cause you have pic of his fraudulent mug for the police dodgy dodgy
arse holes, i know iv commented on this but on reading again, made me angry again.

wise words steve, and good point that until you accept their offer the car still belongs to you

          Well....

I got a settlement of £700 for the van.. not great.. but it took 2 weeks of "negotiation" to get that.

I need a car now ASAP.. as my mam's been diagnosed with cancer and needs to go to hospital every day :/

Anyone know what the deal is now with my insurance? Can i transfer it to another car? or do i just have to keep paying it till renewal and take out another policy for the next vehicle?

Never EVER been in this position before, so i am a bit lost.

Oh good.. Just waiting for them to say "we can't do that, your old policy was for a van, not a car"

Also.. the car i want to swap it to is a 1981 Triumph Dolomite.. Let's see what they can do for me then eh?
