  • A bit of a gripe .... Turbosport ...

Having a bit of an issue with TurboSport just wondering if it's the general scenario with these guys?

Their website seriously lacks info for some items ... so I rang them ... that took 3 days to get someone who could advise .... told can't order over the phone and to use the web site ... that was down for a day or so .... made order paid ... goods turned up ...

Wrong bits .... phoned, no answer, phoned again, no answer, again chap you want has popped out, phoned again, same story. Phoned again same story yet again and they took my number to call back .... they have not done so ...

Web site has contact page ..... doesn't work ...

Eventually found and email add .... they don't reply ....

Tried phoning again several times ..... no answer ....

Honestly ... what are your experiences with these guys?

Sounds like a typical customer call to PVD and Chris Astley Motorsport from back in the day.................................

Finally, got someone on the phone .... couldn't give a toss going by his attitude ... I'm returning for a re-fund, I'll go elsewhere ...

All this is over a week mind you ...

Mark Baines .. ring any bells?

Anyway, as they took paypal I have filed a dispute just to cover myself and will return the parts ... proper recorded delivery of course.

yep. its up in bens kneck of the woods.

met mark hes actually really clued up, informative, doesnt withold information or dangle carrots like some suppliers or tuners. workshop is impressive, CNC mills etc, crank balancing, closed cell dyno, all sorts.

impressive work and parts, terrible customer service.

          so nothing has changed then.

Sounds like they need to employ a receptionist and web designer .... you can be the best supplier in the world, but no good if you can't communicate with your customers, he certainly wasn't talkative, ...

Anyway ... there are other suppliers ...

No it's ok, I used QED instead ... who was nice on the phone .... TS can have their bits back ....

An apology would have been nice, instead of .... well ... nothing really ... it was a very nondescript phone call ... all six of them, or was it eight by the time someone actually dealt with it ..?

Nothing nasty or rude, just ... like nobody could be bothered tbh ...

Mind you it doesn't help when no-one answers the phone or emails or calls you back etc etc ...

well if they are, theybe been having a problem with lack of staff for the last 5 years.

when we turned up at the address it was a house, then got directed by the wife? down a path at the side, through a chicken run (literally) to a network of industrial units (posh sheds). it was all a bit disorganised and i couldnt work out if they are just keeping it word of mouth and low key, or deliberately like it to discourage individual sales

I suppose it depends on if they are paying business rate or not, if you get me.
