vectra arch and wing repairs

Sorry it is non mark chat but looking for some advice .

Just repaired (welded in a section to one rear wheel arch and fibreglassed over to blend in. Painted the car today, and just wondering how long hours/days before i can safely ppolish these areas with farecla g3 and a poliching mop in my air polisher.

Wasnt sure if 48 hours is long enough?

24 hours is enough time, i painted a few bits myself today and plan on wet sanding and buffing them tomorrow
but i did paint them in 2k base and clear

MIne is a direct gloss got some bit in paint with some shine so reckon it needs wet sanding and polishe dup with g3 and a coat of wax.
