I'm just trying to think ????? ... I may have dismantled the wheel boxes and lubricated the shafts when I had it stripped for spraying?? but then that may have been the MGB (a memory like a goldfish me!) but otherwise I've done nothing ... maybe its just a quirk of the camera that makes it look faster, they work fine though (even through that down pour to be honest) ...... Next time it rains hard I'll go count swipes per minute. :-P

We rushed round (with two little ones in tow) to get to Billing for 9.30 to see lots of Vauxhalls going the other way. When we got to the gate we were abruptly told that the show was cancelled and more or less get on our way. We had booked to camp for the saturday night. We went over to the office where they let us have a Pod for the night should we wish to brave it. We were surprised at how the camping fields had become an extension of the lake. We searched for you all ha ha and found Liam and his mate in their caravan.

We made the best of it and through the day the rain did go off but it remained wet. On the sunday the sun came out and everyone that was left went onto the car park and everyone showed their cars. There was lots of stories about what had happened but we all enjoyed the "mini show".

Sorry for all those that had a bad time of it and hope to meet you all next year. And Liam we made it home without the engine cutting out.
