My only concern is that he said he is on holiday and will deal with it when he gets back .... my problem with this is that he's used this excuse before .... ??

Returned GTE to default settings : On axle stands

As he obviously is reading his email I have sent this .... happy holidays bud ....
"Hi Mark,
I regret that I have a couple of issues with your reply,
This excuse has been given before about a mth ago.
It seems you currently have access to email, therefore also your PayPal acc, or at least able and the means to instruct someone back home to finalise this matter.
You have already had almost 2mths to deal with this and I have indeed not only spoken to your employees on the phone on numerous occasions I have also spoken to yourself twice..
Please forgive me if I feel I'm being given the run around and I therefore must insist in dealing with the matter in the time scale as I've already indicated as I see no reason to delay any further."
ps, I doubt he's on holiday tbh ....
When I dealt with Trading Standards, they gave me a template letter to forward, citing the Sales of Goods Act and which part of that act they had breached. Took one phone call to get it. The next reply from P2G was a refund and the said credit into my account. If he doesn't play ball I'd be giving them a ring. I was also successful in getting a refund on a mis-sold insurance policy using Trading Standards too..........although this took a while as a company has approximately 8 weeks to reply by law before the Ombudsman can do anything.
I've used TS before a couple of times, it led to court action that I won, twice .... never got any money though and it cost me half what I was chasing each time ...
You were lucky ...
Yep. Twice apparently. I'll take that. :-)
Well they finally sent me a re-fund, only they deducted 20% a re-stocking fee .... cheeky sods, they sent the wrong parts as I ordered correctly .. and lost the cost of the return postage ...
It's taken me 3mths to get this part refufund .... I'll never order from them again ...
