  • Hockly motorsport lower suspension kit to astra mk 2 ??

    Hello.
My friends want to buy astra mk 2 lower suspension kit. I found kit Hockly motorsport, but they do not answer e-mail.
Do you know whether the company is still in operation ?

if not, then you know companies from which they could obtain ?
These parts are becoming historic rally car.

Yes Hockly still in business. In fact I spoke to them via telephone on Monday regarding some springs.

I dont think the bottom arm kit will be suitable for historics if its to FIA spec as they are different to the original Pilbeam style arms.

        Thanks for the information.
I thought that this could happen here, that parts is not valid to historic.

where to find images of the pilbeam support arms ?

whether racing a place where these parts are made of http://www.pilbeamracing.co.uk/ ?

Which set of FIA papers are you building the car to?

The dimensions and photos of the allowed parts should be in there.

And if your dealing with Pilbeam, you can pretty much triple or quadruple the costs of the kit.

I might know of a full set of genuine Pilbeam suspension if you are interested - bottom arms, struts, springs and steering arms but they wont be cheap to buy.

              I misunderstood friend's speeches.
He needs the support arm to the rear bracket.
He had acquired arms from Finland.

The car will be built in accordance with the classification A5369.

01/01 VO classification is available on the support arms , which is indeed already obtained.
Now the search for the rear bracket.

Thanks for your help, we'll try to find the supports from Finland.
One set of Pilbeam chassis components are also found here, going to trade them. Click image for larger version
