  • 16v GTE 1989 no ignition

Still having issues. Car won't start still, have no ignition. The lights on the dash ie oil light etc come on but lights on the clocks do not.

Is there 3 live feeds to the ecu? If do what should the voltage be and what pin numbers are they?

Tried different distributers, new crank sensor, ignition coil, fuel pump relay, spark plugs, 2nd hand ECU's etc.

So have you put a (spare) spark plug in one of the plug leads on top of the engine and confirmed if there is a spark at all ?

So what tells you you have fuel "I'm getting fuel"?

If you have no spark (when testing as I mention above) then its obviously something that you have not replaced / tested ... Though sounds like you have done all the obvious ones ... can you just rule out an EARTH problem by using a jumper lead between the engine and the body somewhere (a long shot but its not been the first time a simple earthing problem has been the culprit for an electrical issue).

Sorry I cant be more help.
