Bonnet release lever query

Hello guys. Ive fitted a redtop engine into my previously non redtop mk2 a while back and now the ECU is mounted down in the drivers footwell . The old plastic cover down there wouldn't fit anymore as there's now an ECU in the way. I've since bought a GTE cover which fits nicely over the ecu but the bonnet release lever cannot be fitted in the old place now .

So did the GTE's have a different lever or the lever in a different place is what I'm wondering?

Same lever as far as I know should still work

same lever. base model version mounts directly to the A pillar panel. GTE version is on a metal bracket that spaces it out from the A pillar panel

That's what I needed to know! Err, don't suppose anybody has one of these brackets they'd sell me !?
