SRI Interior (Burberry)

Just wondered what people think of the SRI dark burberry interior as I have one I may fit....

Fair comment, I picked the interior up with a black dash as I want shot of the horrible beige one.

The thing is this GTE has spiralled well beyond anything that was originally intended but where do you stop.... I did consider getting some better quality recaros then having it all retrimmed etc but I dunno.

Agreed, and you will have to always answer the question 'was it a sri before?'. Just fit the black dash and few other bits of black trim just to take the edge off the beige. The seats and the rest look fine to me, it was only the dash that I did not like much.

Yeah that would get annoying I suppose, the thing is I hate the light rainbow I think it looks completely naff.

I suppose it a personal thing, I never minded it but then I like the pea green velour in the mk1 cav The dash will make a big difference though.

I'm not sure how much work it would involve but did consider something like an 88 spec RS turbo interior, naturally i'd need to recover the rear seats and door cards but I think the dark material and red fleck would look good.

Would be nice, I had a cavvy gsi dark cloth seat in my mk2 estate. Very comfortable seats with the lumbar support, I suspect you could do a hybrid with them into a gte somhow.

Yeah the front seats would be no problem its be be the rear seats and doorcards hhmm...

I like the idea of the fords though, or some saab ones would be good. Cheaper I bet as well.

Put the sri seats in a lot nicer than gte ones and less common.
