Hello everybody.
A while ago i promised to make a topic about my Kadett GSi. I try to show it in a few photo's and my Dutch-English haha. I had to search back up cd's for the photo's, so not everything is in the right order. And especially the first photo's are broad/rough
I've bought this car in 8-2003 as a project. (and it is still not finished...
)
I have to admit, there where serveral times, i wanted to light it on fire due to not having enough patience.
It is originally a '89 GSi 16v imported in '93 from germany. First planning was to drive it with a C20XE, but in about 2005 the plans changed to a C20LET.
The start:
I was totally inexperienced, but loved the model (also was driving a 16v as a daily) so want to restor it.
Buying the car and aftermarket metal:

the rust...

new fenders etc.

"doorstep?" both sides.

I always wanted a complete rollcage, so bought a hydraulic bender, and a lot of pipes.
Started with the cage:

And that was all i made for the cage. I hated the job, of getting it complete oke and symetric. So that was on a hold for a while.
Than a good friend of my, started on the rear arches. Widening it for fitting the wheels.

free space between the wheel and arch
