  • 16v log book info

    Hi all,
Should all genuine 16v gte's say 16v on the log book
    thanks

As far as i know yes it should say if the car is a genuine 16v unless someone had changed it in the past but unlikely. I can check from the reg if you like

Plus I believe there are slight differences on the body I think the cassette holder is different plus something to do with the gear selector rod goes through or under the car

Its coming up as this by the 124bhp it must be the 8v and it says Saloon not hatch, if you put a known hatch reg in like mine it says Hatch back
        Saloon
        Silver
        06-09-1991
        1998 cc

Fair enough, maybe do some physical checks on the body to confirm, I take it the vin is correct?

as said on that insta snap book thing, 16v shells are unique and easily identifiable. impossible to fake one.
