  • Fuel Sender unit for 1990 GTE 8v

    Hi All,

Anyone know where I can get a Fuel sender unit for an 8v GTE 1990?
Not a great photo, but hopefully it helps to identity the type..

    Thanks, Darren

The part number for 8v on a 1990 is 90197962 if you do a search online they are easy enough to find but not cheap. That one has the correct connector as I have same issue with mine, normally porous float

If it is indeed 90197962 that you want I have a brand new GM one here. Bought it off ebay a few years ago in error after it was advertised as fitting a 16v which it doesn't.
Been in my loft ever since. Paid ?85 for it you can have it for ?60 posted.

          Thanks Fellas, much appreciated.

I still have to remove the old one as yet to confirm, but I know that connector type is an oval shaped plug.

The one in the link and the one in Clive's photos, look like it the connector may be slightly different? - It looks like a round connector rather than oval shaped?
          - Apologies, if I am completely mistaken and find that they are all actually like that

          Cheers,

Assuming this is the one you want as there are a number of different types i have just searched that part number and VauxhallGreenParts are listing it in stock so might be worth a call into them.
