                Re: Jags' Mk2 Turbo

Thanks for all the positive comments, it's nice to get some praise from the certifiable mk2 nutters in the community! ...and that's high praise indeed from people like Kev R, although I've got along way to got to get up near his standard. The cars been running lovely, bar a couple of very minor niggles, such as having to top up the pas fluid yesterday, as the bottle was nearly empty, with no evidence of a leak (probably finally bled the last of the air out after refitting the pipes). The turbo to rad water pipe has a join in it which has been dripping, so gonna have to order a new one from Vx, or maybe get a silicon one. The mk3 trip computer is ready to go in now, so just need to trim the centre vent area to hold it...i've made it a virtually plug in and go affair, with only one splice into the loom required. and the speedo reading is spot on, using the computer from the 1.8 sport....once thats done the dark front seats can go in....

Anyhoo, it was a nice day , so took some engine bay pics....ps ..all pics taken with Nokia N70..

Agreed! That would finish it off in my opinion. Nice motor mate, looks great

The brace is a 1 off built for me by the guy who does my welding at work.....he has made a few others that have popped up on Max P and redline feature cars. Mines in steel and cost me £60, if you're interested i can get a price for you.

Leave him alone Paul. No one wants your 18" rice crap wheels.

By the way jags, do you have any rubbing problems with the ET42 O.Zs?

Thanks Kev! No rubbage at all, as the inner arches are custom made and folded to avoid it, and the wheels are ET45, with 205/40/17 tyres

Clear side repeaters, yes, probably. red sideskirts, nope! I like the contrast between red and black.

Fair enough matey, I just think it looks a little odd with the lower bumper strips in red and the skirts in black.

Like the heatshield thats a good idea and a nice touch
