been at it again, cainin the nuts off my car at Donington park! I had an excellent day. Set of at 5.30am from Steves house and got there for about 7.40. First session was a nightmare, the new V6 brakes were fading badly to the extent where I missed the chicane, going straight on threading my way through the cones. The next lap I braked for Redgate and again nouthing happened, the result this time a gentle spin and a bit of tyre smoke. The track was damp which didt help! The rest of the day went much better, the brakes improved and by the end of the day I was delighted with how they were performing, limited fade and no warping. Dead chuffed with that. the Driveshafts didnt really come into play but coming out of the chicane the inside wheel (short shaft) was noticable less willing to spin up than before, so again money well spent. I had a good battle with an R32 Golf, a Nova on TB's although most of the time I was keen on finding clear track to just get a good run of laps together. I had all 4 tyres squealing in the afternoon and steve had a session and a half. Its not very relaxing letting someone else take your car on a race track! I was the only Mk2 out on the day although MPH came along and watched. I was getting 9mpg on track LMFAO!
On a good note for us GTE 16v lovers, the Nova 16v's werent faster than me in a straight line and through the corners looked noticably less well balanced than most other others I saw
At lunch time Total Vauxhall asked us all to go on the track and they did a photo shoot, so keep your eyes peeled for that over the next few months. Apparently there will be a 10 page feature on it, but no one spoke to me, so i expect its going to be a Nova lovers paradise jobbie

so itshould be ok basical they sent me a ptfe hose because thats what i need to run the hoses inside the car but sent all the fittings for a rubber hose
