  • A Picture Favour Please read on .........

    Hiya's,
Can some kind soul do these for me ................. Using their skill with adobe etc

I have no pics to provide (non i took before resto have been saved)

I would like to see a GTE Head-On view with front repeaters gone (eg: matching wing colour (just imagine i've done away with reps and welded area over with a plate bashed to shape and fillered))

Also with reps gone a badboy bonnet showing filled in front reps

And also if possible a side view 1 showing reps filled in

Hope this makes sense and some whizz can accomodate my mad desire

If the reps filled in i will use my original reps on the outers of front bumper you see

And also wanted to see what no reps and a badboy look looked like

    Many Thanks

    Have Fun

    Def

I know it's not a mk2 but here's a pic of my mates Cav 4x4 T as he has removed his front indicators and it still passes the MOT with no problems. I'm liking your thinking as no one else has done this before on a mk2. Hardest part is keeping the curve in the plate. I can get you some more pics if you need them.

    More during the plating

        Hiya's,
Damn guys that was fast he he

Yeah i'm liking what i see

Got a few rusted spare wings so gonna give it a try and see how hard it is to sort the shaping

Can beat most of the shape in on a beating bag i guess

Got quads which do away with the reps but they are missing a clip and one is scuffed after an old duffer in a van cut into me grrrrrr and the units themselves are rusting

        Many Thanks both

Inspired me to have a try tomorrow

        Ciao

        Have Fun

i thought it was gonna look really odd, but when i photoshopped it, it doesn't look too bad

                Hiya's,
                Bleeding tipping it down here

I'm stuck on resto and this trial wing welding etc due to the weather (can't weld in the barn in case it goes up in smoke lol, so dependant on weather for a few more days)

My main reason for trying the wing infills was purely because
A: my quads have seen better days and weren't too good at night anyways lol
B: i've never seen an exact equal gap-join from the standard indicator to headlamp so closeup they look shoddy

Hopefully me and bro can get something done today if weather clears up

gaz will keep that in mind in case i can't do them

                Cheers

                Ciao
