  • Thinking about new wheels, Compomotive MO's

I'm going to change my wheels, i want some 15's as its not worth buying 16" tyres only to trash them on the track, they cost a small fortune.

so, thinking about some good old Compomotive MO's, classic wheel i have always loved to bits. Ive MS Painted some onto my car, its a bodge but Its all I can do LOL!!!

Im not sure on the white wheels TBH, another thing I have always liked but does it work on a grey car?

P.S. anyone know how mush MO's weigh?

so true ! i still use the same brand tyres as i did on my 16's. the same width and profile on the 15's are 30-40 quid cheaper per corner !

Makes the beasty look like a proper track car! Agree with you about white wheels on a grey car but theres ways around that and they are a quality wheel.

Im struggling, I paid £65 a corner for my Avon ZV3's 6 months ago, going to need some more after Donington in a few weeks! got some second hand rover alloys with 16" rubber thats pretty good so going to use that and sell the wheels.

        I love the compomotives

i swear them rims/tires/calipers look familiar :lol

Look on Ebay for the rims i got mine for £400 on there

& i got my Michaline Pilot Sports for £35 a corner from http://www.mytyres.co.uk/start.html - you have to wait a couple of weeks as they ship them from germany but if your not in a major rush

Same situation as you Brett with the silver car.
Keep toying with the idea of some black ones but not sure if they'd suit
                          a grey car either

                          Regards

Re: Thinking about new wheels, Compomotive MO's

Compomotive MOs are very strong and provide lots of brake clearance but aren't particularly light. A 6x15 MO wheel and tyre on my racecar is 17kg compared with 12kg for the 7x15 OZs i bought recently, although the difference is partly due to the tyres.

JD mate your well ahead of the game, the wheels I shopped onto mine are yours, I cut up a pic of your motor and Im speaking to the bloke about the wheels!!

I've been told the Compomotives weigh 8.5kg, I like them in silver.
