  • Alloy choice

I've been lopking at changing the alloys to 15" but keeping with Vauxhall parts as I feel the GTE is target enougth without drawing more attention to it with a huge set of rims.

First choice are a set of Cavalier GSI. I like the simple design of these and they come from the same era as the GTE. (Easier to clean than GTE ones too!)

Second choice would be the Astra GSI alloys. I've seen these on several GTE's and they do look good.

But after a good search through Ebay for ideas, I found these. Not from the Vauxhall parts bin but finished in red with the lettering picked out in white....

If anyones a dab hand with the photo shop I'd love to see what they'd look like on the car. (Maybe not the last ones!) lol.

      MONSTER!!

Champions are like rocking horse shite but I know they did fit them to other models.

There's also the star shaped ones off the Cavalier CDX

Mmm, yes. I think the yellow stickers would give an extra sense of speed as they spun round.
Does anyone know where I can get some 'Spokie Dokies' for a GTE, the sparklie ones if poss.?

no idea, but poweflex do uprated clothes peg bushes for the bit of card between the spokes.

                  Re: Alloy choice

if the astra gsi alloys didnt have the funny detailing then I would say go for those but imo the cav gsi rims look nicer.

                    Re: Alloy choice

i've got cav gsi rims on mine. one thing i've noticed is it doesn't take long for the front discs to warm up & start fading when driven hard
