  • Taking Seats Apart!

    a strange request i know but i've got some GTE seats and one has a mint bolster but ripped base, and other has ripped bolster and mint base is there any way i can merge the two good bits together and make a mint seat

    Yes I'm sure that the base is detachable from the back

          guys do you know that you can fit a drivers side heigh adjustable subframe to a passenger side seat, and then just fit that to your car?

          passenger seats never have any wear on the GTE's, only down side is the clip to tip it forward is on this inside then, but its not to bad!

          end result is two mint front seats, I often get people comment on my immaculate leather in my calibra, little do they know how fucjed the orginal drivers seat was LMFAO!!!

              It's easy to separate the seats, just remove the winding wheel(ease out the centre bit, then gently pull the wheel off the seat).
              Remove the platic bits on each side(tiny plastic pin,needs to be either pushed though, or if you can pull it out.)Then the plastic bits come of, but be careful not to break them.
              Then you'll see a metal clip on either side, just ease them off, and then the seat will split into two.
