Mk 2 in Sprite ad

Might be a bit slow here, but has anyone else seen the white Mk2 in the new seies of Sprite telly ads? Boy and girl drive into petrol station and buy sprite(animal) etc...etc.. Why do they always seem to have white Mk2s (Snack a jacks ad mentioned elsewhere) was also white was it not?

Didn't really get a good look but looked like it was on a 'L' reg which is a bit unusual?!

Havn't seen it but they probably just changed the reg for the ad,the nova saloon in the mtv pimp my ride ad was an L reg (or newer) if I remember rightly,, I remember thinking they didn't do nova's on that reg anyway

L reg seems to stick in my mind fer some reason but I could be wrong it might have been an R reg,anybody else remember the ad?
