Mk 2 in Sprite ad

Might be a bit slow here, but has anyone else seen the white Mk2 in the new seies of Sprite telly ads? Boy and girl drive into petrol station and buy sprite(animal) etc...etc.. Why do they always seem to have white Mk2s (Snack a jacks ad mentioned elsewhere) was also white was it not?:confused:

Havn't seen it but they probably just changed the reg for the ad,the nova saloon in the mtv pimp my ride ad was an L reg (or newer) if I remember rightly,, I remember thinking they didn't do nova's on that reg anyway

Mine was not white, but 'parchment' , i called it 'hearing-aid beige' tho. LOL!

Whatever colour it is, it looks in pretty straight condition for its age.

You can actiually get an L reg Nova but theyre pretty hard to come across but I know somebody who used to have one and the car in the sprite ad is definatley a mk2 astra... the ad might be on google vids or you tube or somewhree like that... might see if I can find it a bit later.

i know this is an old thread but as a matter of interest has/did anyone notice that the aerial on the car in the ad is on the near side wing rather than the offside wing?!?!?!

Thats because its been recorded like when you take a picture its back to front if you know what I mean can't really describe it got confused now lol!:hissyfit:
