Sounds like a feature car to me! Very nice, and looks like a nice workshop too, alot of space! The interior needs to be done tho, also I don't think those side skirts suit it very well, they sort of break up the smooth lines of the car but thats just my opinion.

Lovly car and an ace paint job!

EDIT: Welcome to the forums btw Kiran m8!!!

Yeah I ment to ask, how did you fit the mk3 bumper, splitter and how did you do the big mouth mod?

                  Re: Newbie-here's my car

oo now that wld be tellin! lol
the bumper was prob 300% easier than the dash.
the bumpers suprinsingly easy, fits easy enough jus needs new holes drilling for front mounts and i bonded on the old slider mounts off the mk2 bumper.
the big mouth is like and body mod really, i removed the metal bumper support, cut out the number plate support and fibrglass/filled the open areas. would of been better to foam the holes to looking back on it. i also left a 1-2mm 'gully' for the mesh to slide into.

right the dash, hmm pain in the ass! had to cut here there and everywhere, welded on the mk3 mountings, had to chop the glove box as it fouls the mk2 bulkhead. wiring is a pain but theres a good guide i used off mig.
biggest problem is the heater, i could be arsed to get it all working so left it on hot, windscreen/vents. makings a custom centre console as the mk3 one dont really fit.

cheers fella, im feelinfg thats the only down side to oit, its so popular now that its already been done 3 or 4 time, and i like the one off's so i might have to cook up somethin special for the next front end.

anyone know where i can get a quality smooth scuttle for 2 wipers? i did buy one off mig but the bosdy shop wernt to impressed with the quality as it had no mountings etc and the mold was a bit poo
