Ive got plenty of time off work so once again everything is coming out of the interior, it was thrown in for the track day so its a bit half done right now!!

Im going to be finishing the dash off, removing the last traces of the tar stuff from the floor pan, underselaing the mounting point for the cages, then spraying the lot Mistral Grey. Then everything is going back in for the last time in waht I hope will be a long time. Carpets are being cleaned, and some new door cards going in.

after that the interior should be done at last!! till I get bored again.

I'll also be off down the scrappy for some Vectra V6 Callipers at some point!

so what are you up to christmas/new year week?

depends, no more than £7-£800 I would have thought for a total minter.

Yeh, as long as it stays dry, the interior is coming out.

i dont really mind buying one that needs new wings or rear arches as long as the main chassis and the sills are solid

i think i will crack the XE open this winter. see how the pistons/rings/bores are getting on. it will give me a chance to inspect the bottom end also, and flip the pistons round, then i can slot the 280's in.

also want to do a mini suspension rebuild, get hold of a proper decent kit (probably blue/yellow billies) and some eccentric top mounts for the front. i'll get the car up to BDE and dial in some extra neg camber on the fronts. get the castor measured and adjusted too, and also see what the corner weights are up to. (although i cant change the last one)

I've got the calibra to strip out, plus i've seen a really nice black 8v gte for sale but he wants £550 for it... i mean it has got an mot and 11 months tax so maybe it's worth it, I could just be really cheeky and go there with £450 in my pocket and offer it to him and if he doesnt accept it then go down to the bank for the rest :p

Gonna put all my stereo stuff in (maybe), sort the central locking, sort the blowing exhaust, have a look at the roof seals (cos it whistles like hell at 120+)

Mine is getting new arches in January. From the outside, then, she'll look pretty clean for a 16 year old car. A few bits needing tidying/ fixing inside, the surround I made for the Monza computer is 180 dgrees out. Little gay things. Migh even drag it to a few shows next year, not many 5 door Mk2s about.

my mum is being all anoyying and told me I had to have a bunch of cloths and my dad being a weak minded fool let her :( still it's all free so i can't really complain :p

Still, I would of just asked for money toward a set of 17's and I can't choose some untill I get the parts for a 5 stud conversion :(
