hehe, i think you should be fine as long as the engine mounts are the same (which i'm not sure they are), is it comeing with gear box and everything?

not sure either tbh, I thought all the v6's in cav and cali's were 170 bhp, I was talking to a nice guy today about maybe buying his leather and 2.5 v6 cali and he completely confused me by saying it was 190 bhp standard?

Did the car hav leather, I want some for my cali, if you are selling it!

Sounds like you got a bargin tho man!

I am also embarking upon a V6 conversion in one of my two GTE's this year. I have a 183bhp XE in there at the moment, but I have a 2.5 V6 with 3.0 cams. Will have heads flowed, enlarged TB done by a local firm and then a suitable inlet and exhaust set up with a re-map. Should be looking at a nice machine there. Handling is a trade off, but I have another for that sort of fun so not at all bothered.

sounds good! im on the look out for some 3ltr cams,im going to flow the heads before it goes in. the rest will depend on cash flow!
