well the time has come to break the cav so got cracking today, but got a bit carried awaylmao
the plan was to remove the ecu and loom, remove all the gubbins from the engine and have it ready to pull out in the morning, so i did that, and i was done by 10.30, so thought sod it and took the engine out, then thats all i was going to do so in the morning i could plonk the engine in the astra, but had the engine ot but 12, thought sod it and refitted it to the astra againlmao
so thats waht i did, here a few pics
einge with rad and fuel pipes disconnected, loom out all disconnected
bumper removed and being drained of fluids
eninge and box out the top as always
empty cav engine bay
random picture on the the engine on the crane
difference between m2 astra and mk3 cav/astra mounts
eninge all mounted in place in the astra
engine went back in through the top and diddnt even touch the sides
this is how its left, ready to be finished tomorrow
