At Last!!!!!

Big up to S&J autos... who proved that most bodywork shops just can't be arsed to do the job..

they've plated a rusty blister in my boot.

They fixed the back of my sills.. which to be fair they didn't have to do as we didn't know they were shagged..

Repaired the inner arch (which was letting water into my boot)!

and fitted new rear outer arches and painted them up a bloody treat.. also getting rid of some scratches (looks like some divvy *** used a brillo pad to polish it at some time)

and to top it all they got those pesky black plastic trims on nice and snug!

I'd tell you all how much it cost but as the job turned out more than they thought I'll just say it wasn't over £300..


So if you're local and you need arches doing get down there.. I think mine was the 3rd GTE/Mark2 Astra they'd done in as many weeks... (How's it looking Harvey)?

Just gave them a call spoke to jim top bloke!! Because i live quite a way away off he can't have a look but he said baised on worst case scenario (inner and out arches and sills) £300+parts in primer finish!

Glad you got it all sorted Jo, saw your motor the other Friday and all the plating that was done to the inner arch. Got the SRi back yesterday with fully painted doors that now match the rest of the cars colour.

I cannot recommend S&J enough as they have worked on both my GTE, bare shell repair with extra strengthening, cage, front floor pans etc and Amanda's SRi which had new rear arches and a full respray excluding roof and lower boot hatch. The guys down there have worked on loads of Vauxhall's over the last few years since I found them and can do welding, panel replacement, spraying, body kit fitting and even custom work like proper badboy bonnets and wheel well removal. Basically you name it they can do it and at a very reasonable price so give them a try.
