ECU codes

I've just got some more bits from the scrappies for my 16v engine.
They are from a H reg 16v Calibra.
The ECU has a slightly different code on it to the one that i got from a G reg Astra gte 16v
What is the difference, i take it that both should work?

Yes i did, but it was on the drivers seat and not connected! :eek:
Just wondering if the chip was different in each ECU?

I'd use the ecu that came with the engine, There were some slight alterations to the maps over the years, the 2 most significant were (IIRC) Lambda control and after cats were fitted.
